Who we are
Daftro ("we", "us") provides online accounting software at daftro.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash).
- Business data you enter: contacts, invoices, bills, bank statement lines, receipts and reports. This data belongs to you.
- Website usage: pages visited on our public website, measured with Google Analytics. Analytics never runs inside the app.
- Messages you send us through the contact form.
How we use it
- To provide the service, keep your account secure and send the emails you ask for, such as invoices and sign-in codes.
- To answer your messages and support requests.
- To understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it.
We do not sell your personal information or your business data.
Connected apps
If you connect Xero or Gmail, we store the access those services grant, encrypted, and use it only for what you asked: importing your Xero data or sending your emails from your Gmail address. You can disconnect at any time in Settings.
Who we share it with
We use trusted providers to run Daftro, such as hosting, email delivery and Cloudflare for security and speed. They process data only on our instructions. We may disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active. When you close your account we delete it, except records the law requires us to keep for longer.
Your rights
You can view, correct and export your data from the app at any time. To delete your account or ask about your data, contact us.
Security
Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, and access inside each business is limited by user roles.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your language and theme. Google Analytics sets cookies on our public website to measure visits.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we update the date at the top. We announce important changes in the app or by email.
